Seven people were killed in a collision between a bus, a car and a truck at 10:35 p.m. on Jalan Sultan last night.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The laundry business in the Cipinang Indah II Complex, Pondok Bambu Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, was scorched by fire, Tuesday (5/10/2021) night. The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. received a fire report at 9:20 p.m. WIB. "The object that caught fire was the laundry business that was inside the house," said East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Operations Section Head Gatot Sulaeman, Wednesday (6/10/2021) early in the morning. When the fire burns, the house is empty.
"The building is empty. The fire came from a neighbor next door who gave information that there was smoke," said Gatot. The ranks of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. deployed six fire engines and 30 personnel. The fire was extinguished at 22.00 WIB.
Gatot suspected that the fire was caused by an electrical short coming from the laundry area. The burned area is 40 square meters. Losses are estimated at IDR 75 million. There were no casualties in the fire.
